OneShare Health has an immediate opening for a Claims Data and Business Data Analyst responsible for extracting large amounts of structured and unstructured data sets from multiple internal and eternal sources, and making business recommendations through the application statistical analyses. If you have a passion for maximizing results through data and cross-functional collaboration; and share in our goal of "Better Together", we want to hear from you!


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aggregates data and provides comprehensive assessments
  • Conducts risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • Documents methodologies used in the development of reporting outputs
  • Develops and implements creative, analytic solutions to business needs
  • Manages and optimizes processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables
  • Develops and implements quality control standards
  • Creates, organizes, and delivers data with logical, easy to interpret, visual translations


  • College Degree/Diploma strongly preferred
  • 3+ years in a dedicated data/claims analyst role within the medical insurance industry (5+ years if no Bachelors degree). Medical insurance and claims-specific industry experience is required
  • 3+ years experience with Deerwalk software/database
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive and descriptive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros) Access, Visio and other analysis programs 
  • Demonstrated experience handling and organizing unstructured, poorly structured, and structured data
  • Working knowledge of: SQL, SAS, Teradata, Python, R, AS400, or other reporting tools/languages preferred
